DIES AT OSAGE

Osage – Nels A. Benson, 76, died Monday afternoon at his home here after a long illness. He was a retired farmer.

He leaves his wife, 1 daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Warrington, a brother, Bert, Seattle, Wash., and 3 sisters, Nell and Emily of Osage, and Mrs. John Handel of Des Moines.

According to the 1900 US Census; Nels was born June 1870 and was living in Cedar, Mitchell, Iowa. In the 1925 Census his parents are listed as Benjamin Benson and Bejte Swanson (her first name wasn’t clear). He married Anna Amelia Adrian, the daughter of Julius and Marie (Fisler) Adrian. In 1950 his wife married Martin Hultman.
