RALPH HALL OF MCINTIRE DIES
FUNERAL SERVICES OF TRUCK FARMER TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAYMcIntire – Ralph Hall, 68, died Monday night at an Iowa City hospital of heart disease. Funeral services for the McIntire truck farmer will be held at the home north of town Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock, with the Rev. Mr. Bodenham in charge. Burial will be in Wayne Cemetery near McIntire.
He came to Iowa from Vermont with his parents in a covered wagon when he was 9 years old, and the family settled on a farm north of McIntire. When he was married he moved to North Dakota, but returned here seven years ago.
Surviving are his widow and six children; Hugh and John farmers near McIntire; Mrs. Lester Gooder of McIntire; Nathan of Minneapolis; Mrs. John Schaefer of Minneapolis; and Lenore, at home; a brother, Adison, at home, and six grandchildren.
