OSAGE NATIVE DIES IN CRASH IN WYOMING

Osage – Melvin Olson, 38, died Tuesday in a semi-trailer accident near Laramie, Wyoming.

According to reports, the truck struck an abutment, exploded and caught fire. Olson, pinned in the cab, burned to death.

Champion Funeral Home will be in charge of funeral arrangements. Rites will be in Rock Creek Lutheran Church. Arrangements are incomplete.

Born to Julius and Inga Olson, November 12, 1922, he was married to Evelyn Erdmann of Osage. They lived in Osage and Austin.

Surviving are his parents, Osage; his ex-wife, Evelyn, Minneapolis; four son, David; Douglas; and Dennis, Osage; Robin, Minneapolis; a daughter, Diane, Osage; three brothers, Jean, Robert J., and Keith, all of Osage.

MELVIN OLSON RITES SET AT ROCK CREEK

Osage – Funeral services for Melvin Olson 38, will be held Friday at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. He was killed in a truck crash and fire near Laramie, Wyoming.
