OSAGE, IOWA

Gladys M. Cowell, 79, of Osage, died on Sunday, September 29, 1996, at the Good Shepherd Health Center, Mason City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home, with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery.

Visitation will begin after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Gladys M. Cowell was born April 6, 1917, in Jamestown Township, Howard County, near Riceville.

Survivors include two sisters, Jeanne Bloss of LeRoy, Minn., and Dorothy Trainer of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
