OSAGE FARMER DIES

Osage – Everett Slawson 72, died Saturday morning at a convalescent home in Mason City. The body is at the Champion funeral home at Osage with rites set tentatively for Tuesday afternoon.

He was a bachelor farmer, born in Mitchell County and lived there all his life. He lived with his nephew, Robert Ham, near Osage, before he was taken to Mason City.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. Vinnie Purvine, of Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Everett Charles Slawson was born March 5, 1878 in Mitchell Co., Iowa, (WWI Draft registration) the son of James Henry Slawson and Hannah (Baer) Slawson.
