Funeral services for Mrs. Rasmus Jorgensen, 89, were held Saturday, May 15,1965 at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar. The Rev. Don Comnick, church pastor, was in charge of the services.

Julie L. Carlsen, the daughter of J.B. and Hansine Carlsen, was born December 25, 1875, on a farm near St. Ansgar. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar.

On February 26, 1898 she was united in marriage to Rasmus Jorgensen. Two sons were born to this union; Victor of Osage and Ralph of Marshalltown.

Mrs. Jorgensen's health began to fail in 1963 and she died Wednesday, May 12. She is survived by her husband and two sons; one sister, Elise Carlsen of Santa Barbara, Calif; two grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Interment was in the St. Ansgar cemetery with Rev. Comnick in charge of the committal services.
