SELMER JOHNSON
ST. ANSGAR, IOWA — Services for Selmer Johnson, 71, who died Friday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital in Osage, will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at the First Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Helene; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Johnson of Mason City and Norma Jean at home; a granddaughter, and a brother Alvin of Orchard.
Schroeder and Houg Funeral Home is in charge.

#3:Funeral services for Selmer A. Johnson, 71, who died Friday, April 24, 1970 at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital, were held on Monday, April 27 at First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating.
Selmer Johnson was born near St. Ansgar, September 4, 1898, the son of George and Helen Johnson. He was the oldest of four sons. He was baptized and confirmed in the First Lutheran church and a lifelong member of the church.
On May 21, 1954, he was united in marriage to Helene Jensen. He is survived by his wife, Helene; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Betty) Johnson of Mason City and Norma Jean at home; one granddaughter and one brother, Alvin of Orchard.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Don Comnick in charge of committal services.
