Donna Ilene Fiser Debban was born February 2, 1936, at Charles City, the daughter of Ralph and Margaret (Wilcox) Fiser. Donna attended school at Charles City and later received her GED. On January 4, 1954, she married Oscar Debban, Jr. at Mason City, moving to Waterloo shortly thereafter. To this union daughters Vickie and Tina were born. Donna was employed at the Cedar Falls Lutheran Home from October of 1966 until her retirement on February 2, 1996.
She was a CNA and Med Aide caring passionately and lovingly for her residents. Donna also served as a union steward and was a member of the Lutheran Home softball team. She thoroughly enjoyed life and found great joy in playing cards, gardening, fishing, writing poems, watching and attending professional ice skating and karokee. Her greatest joy, however, was being a grandma to her grandchildren and sharing her life with them as they grew. Donna will be remembered as a very kind, generous and giving person.
