MITCHELL, IOWA — E. A. Shallock, about 70, Wednesday of a stroke which he suffered several months ago; was a resident of Mitchell Township several years ago before moving to present home.

He married Martha Eske of St. Ansgar, 32 years ago.

He leaves his widow, eight children, Laurence, Laverne, Emil Jr., Lloyd and Clarence, at home; Mrs. Joseph Anderson, and Mrs. Stanley Hylan, Little Cedar, and Mrs. Leonard Warrington, Mitchell; two grandchildren; one child died in infancy.

The body was taken to Champion Funeral Home at Osage.
