PELTON SERVICES HELD AT OSAGERESIDENT OF MITCHELL COUNTY FOR MANY YEARS LEAVES TWO CHILDREN
OSAGE, IOWA – Oct. 25. – Mrs. Lillius Annie Pelton, who died Thursday morning at the home of her sister, Mrs. A. L. Hungerford, was buried Saturday afternoon. The services were held in a funeral home by the Rev. Sylvester Ellis of the Methodist church.
Lillius Annie Charlesworth was born July 25, 1867 in Lime Springs. When she was a year old she moved to Osage where most of her life was spent, save for a short sojourn in Waterloo and in California.
She was married September 25, 1886 to William H. Pelton, who died 16 years ago.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Maud Frellsen, Minneapolis; and Albert Pelton, Osage; also four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. A. L. Hungerford; Mrs. W. J. Decker; and Ervin Charlesworth, Osage; Mrs. Mary Preston, Los Angeles; Bert Charlesworth, Long Beach, Cal; and Mrs. Laura Colgate, Minneapolis.
