Buried HereThe body of Carl Severson was brought to Osage today for burial in the local cemetery. He is an old New Haven resident, and well known and liked by the people of that community.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Osage Lutheran Church, conducted by the pastor Reverend K. G. Nilsen.
Carl Severson was born in Norway on July 2, 1868, and departed this life on February 24, 1924, at the age of 56 years, 7 months and 21 days.
He came to this country in 1888 and lived in the vicinity of New Haven until 1903, when he moved to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Here he resided for thirteen years, then he moved to Springbrook, Wisconsin where he lived at the time of his death.
On November 16 he underwent an operation for cataract of the eye, from which he never recovered.
He united with the Lutheran Church in his infancy and remained a member of the same until his death.
He leaves to mourn him two sisters and one brother at Osage, and one sister in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, and two sisters in Norway.
