Osage – Mrs. Walter (Frances Olson) Bellis, 54, died Monday at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Thursday at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Osage Cemetery with Champion Funeral Home in charge.

Surviving are her husband, her mother, Mrs. Rose Olson, and a brother, Robert O. Olson, all of Osage.

Mrs. Bellis had been assisting in the care of three nephews, sons of the late Mr. and Mrs. Olson who were killed in an auto accident near Lyle.

Francis Hannah Olson was born December 20, 1909, the daughter of Oscar Henry Olson and Rose Elizabeth (Wetzel) Olson . She married Walter Edward Bellis, the son of Dale Bellis and Mary Meyer Bellis. (info from family tree on Ancestry)
