Patrick Vaughn was sick with pneumonia and passed away after an illness of five days. He died on Wednesday, December 12, 1888, and was buried Friday, December 14.

He leaves a wife and eight children to mourn his loss; most of the family are grown up.

A large number of people followed his remains to his last resting place. We sympathize with the bereaved families in their great loss.

His age was 65 years.
