Frank James Corsair..1881-1947

Osage – Funeral rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Eyler funeral home at Clarion for Frank James Corsair, 66; burial in Clarion cemetery; died Friday at his farm home east of Osage, having suffered ill health since retirement as railroad employee.

He was born March 31, 1881, at Aurora, Illinois, son of Dave and Fannie (Napper) Corsair. As a child he accompanied his parents to Clarion and married Clara Hamilton in 1901 and they resided at Clarion until 1939, when they came to Riceville. In 1943 they moved to a farm near Osage.

He leaves his widow, son Alvin, Fort Dodge; daughter; Mrs. Clarence Hammond, Riceville; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren ; daughter, Mrs. Velma Sweet and brothers, Will and Dave preceded him in death.
