William Eris Seeber 1878-1947
Osage – W. E. Seeber, 69, died suddenly from a heart attack at his home Wednesday evening after having just retired for the night. He had suffered from similar attacks during the last year.
William Eris Seeber was born January 8, 1878, to Luther and Katherine (Briggs) Seeber, at Sabula, Iowa. He attended schools of that community and married Dora Belle Sheckler June 3, 1903.
The couple came to Osage in 1916 and established their home west of Osage, and conducted the Seeber Sand and Gravel pit for a number of years, retiring to their home in Osage two years ago, leaving the business in charge of their son Kenneth. Mr. Seeber was the youngest of a family of eight children.
He leaves his wife, three sons; Harold, Moline, Illinois; Luther and Kenneth, both of Osage; one brother, Orlo Seeber, at Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.
Funeral at the Champion funeral home in Osage Saturday at 2 p.m. ; burial in the Osage Cemetery.
