IOWA DEATHS
Osage – Committal Services were Saturday in the Osage Cemetery for Charles S. Tireman, 81, who died at Albuquerque, N. M. having been in ill health for some time. His son, Dr. Loyd, accompanied the body to Osage.
He was born September 15, 1864, at Sparta, Wisconson, the youngest of 12 children. The family moved to Mitchell County and took up government land. On this farm Charles grew to manhood. In 1892, he married Lorinda Wooldridge of Fayette. They lived on the home farm until 1902, when the health of Mrs. Tireman forced them to leave the farm and locate in Fayette.
From this marriage came two children, Ethel who died in infancy; and Loyd now of Albuquerque. While in Fayette Mr. Tireman worked in the windmill and plumbing business, during which time his wife was an invalid.
In 1935 his wife died and Mr. Tireman moved to Alburquerque, N. M. He was a member of the city council at Fayette, an officer in the Masonic lodge, and an active worker in the Methodist church.
