FUNERAL SERVICES HELD AT OSAGE FOR ACCIDENT VICTIM
GLADYS THORESEN’S RITES CONDUCTED IN LUTHERAN CHURCH

Osage – Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 at the Osage Lutheran church in charge of the Rev. T. P. Solem for Gladys Thoresen who was killed in an automobile-truck head on collision near Wells, Minnesota, Wednesday evening.

She was returning home for Thanksgiving vacation with Mr. and Mrs. John Bergstrom and daughter, Bette, of Charles City. The two girls were students at Mankato Business college.

Gladys was graduated from Osage high school in the class of 1940. She had been actibe in 4-H club work.

Surviving are her father, Eli Thoresen, and two brothers, Leonard and Howard. Her mother died in 1928.
