AT ROCK CREEK

Heart Attack Suffered
June 26 Is Fatal
To Prominent Farmer

Malvin Rudolph Lunde, 65, died suddenly of a heart attack Friday, June 26, on the farm where he had lived for the past 56 years.

The body lay in state at Sheckler funeral home until Tuesday morning. Services for the family were held at 1:15 Tuesday afternoon at the Lunde farm home, followed by rites at 2 o'clock at the Rock Creek Lutheran church, Meroa.

The Rev. M. G. Berg officiated at the rites and interment was made in Rock Creek cemetery. The casket was carried by Herbert Lunde, Arleigh Lunde, Gaylord Lunde, Harold Sponheim, Norman Sponheim and Engene Hugi.

Mrs. Erling Dahley,accompanied by Ruth Sponheim as organist sang "I'm But a Stranger Here" and "Asleep in Jesus." Members of the flower committee were Mrs. Alvin Christiansen and Mrs. Carl Christiansen.

Mr. Lunde was born July 23, 1887, in Mitchell County, Iowa. He was baptized and confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran church.

His marriage to Sena Sponheim took place March 4, 1914. He is survived by his widow; two sons; Arthur of St. Ansgar and Gilman, at home; one daughter, Marjorie Bohlen of Allison; six grandchildren and two brothers, Gustave Lunde and Russell Lunde,both of Nora Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, a brother and a grandchild.
