OLE IVERSON RITES PENDING AT OSAGE

Osage – Ole Iverson, 83, died Tuesday at the Rockford nursing home. Funeral services are pending at the Champion Funeral Home.

Born in Norway, November 4, 1877, he came here at 6, with his mother. His mother died the following year and he and his brother were reared in the Lutheran Children’s Home, Wittenburg, Wisconsin. He was a linotype operator at Decorah until retiring 20 years ago when he bought a home in Orchard. There are no immediate survivors.
