ISAIAH TORNEY, 72, DIES AT RICEVILLE

Riceville, Iowa – Isaiah T. Torney, 72 year old farmer living northeast of town, died Wednesday at his home from a heart attack following a long illness. Mr. Torney is survived by his wife, three daughters, Beulah of Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Roy Stark and Mrs. Jonas Priestly, Jr., and one son, Wallace of Riceville. There are also five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Maria Auringer of Osage.

Isaiah Thomas Torney was born July 12, 1871 in Iowa, the son of Thomas Torney and Margaret (McDowell) Torney. He married Lynn "Linnie" Wallace.
