BEULAH TORNEY RITES TUESDAY AT RICEVILLE

Riceville – Beulah Torney, 60, died Saturday evening at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Riceville. Burial will be in the Riceville Cemetery with Champlin Funeral Home, Osage, in charge.

Born in July 1901 near Riceville, she was the daughter of I. T. and Lynn Torney. She was a graduate of Riceville High School and was employed many years at the U.S. Mint in Washington, D. C. She had been in ill health for several years.

Surviving are two sisters; Mrs. Roy Stark, Riceville; Mrs. Jonas Priestley, Osage; a brother, Wallace Torney, Riceville.
