WIFE OF OSAGE PHYSICIAN DIES; RITES THURSDAY

Osage – Mrs. R. L. Whitley, 86, died Tuesday at a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Norman Brooks of the First Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be Saturday morning in Mendon, Michigan.

Born Grace Foreman, November 12, 1873, at Prairie Corners, Michigan, she was married to Lewis Lowe in 1895. They lived at Grand Rapids, Mich., until his death in 1939.

She then came to Osage to care for her cousin, Elizabeth Foreman, and was married in 1944 to Dr. R. L. Whitley.

Surviving are her husband, a step-son, John, both of Osage; a niece and a nephew.
