RITES AT OSAGE FOR MRS. MELBURN WOODWARD, 75

Orchard – Mrs. Melburn Woodward, 75, died Friday night at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage.

Vernice Kearney was born June 13, 1885, to Viola and Eugene Kearney in Austin, Minn. She was married in Osage, June 15, 1912. The couple had lived in Orchard since their marriage.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters,; Mrs. Tracy (Jeanette) Horn, Fairmont, Minn.; Mrs. Gene (Mary Lou) Dale, Orchard; five grandchildren, two brothers; Phil Kearney, Washington, D.C.; Glenn Kearney, Portland, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. Vio Page, Grand Rapids, Minn.
