Fred Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clark, was born May 10, 1876, in Cedar township, and died July 14, 1895.

During a long and painful illness he was cheerful and patient, uttering no words of complaint. He had a firm faith and trust in God and looked forward to death with no misgivings and no fear.

Fitting resolutions were passed by the Brush Sunday School, of which he was an active and faithful member, expressing their sorrow at his loss, and their loving remembrance of his Christian character and influence.

The family wish to express their thanks to the many friends who were so kind during his sickness and death.

Parents were Thomas Clark and Jane Tibbits Clark.
