Died Yesterday
of Pneumonia

Mrs. Inga Amundson passed away at her home Tuesday evening. about 8 o’clock from double pneumonia. after an illness of a couple of weeks. She was advanced in age, and critically ill from the start of the disease.

Mrs. Amundson lived with her sister, Miss Jorgenson, and her brother, Axel Jorgenson. Her husband died many years ago, and their children passed away in infancy. She and her husband formerly lived in the Rock Creek community.

Funeral services will be held from the church at that place tomorrow afternoon at 2 o’clock, her pastor, Rev. O.C. Myhre, conducting the service, and burial will be made in the cemetery there.

OBITUARY OF MRS.
INGA AMUNDSON, WHO
DIED LAST WEEK

Mrs. Inga Amundson was born in Lillestrom, Norway, December 22, 1868. In the fall of 1880, she came to America and located in the Rock Creek community.

She was confirmed in the Rock Creek Lutheran church on May 18, 1882. Later she entered into matrimony with Andrew Amundson, who died nine years ago. In their wedlock one daughter was born, who died at the age of 11 years.

The following are the only near relatives surviving: Gilbert Jorgenson, Eidsvold, Norway; and Axel and Carrie Jorgenson, both of Osage, Iowa.

The departed has been sickly for many years and has made her home with her brother and sister since their moving into Osage about five years ago.

She died on January 22, 1924. The cause of her death was pneumonia.

Funeral services were held in the Rock Creek church on January 24, and burial made in the Rock creek Cemetery, the Rev. Myhre officiating.
