WAR I VETERAN DIES AT OSAGE

Osage – Funeral services for Earl Snyder, 54, employee of the Cedar Valley Product at Osage for 24 years, veteran of World War I, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the Champion funeral home, the Rev. E. H. Yohr officiating. He died Tuesday evening.

Survivors include the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Lulu Ogden of Osage; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. May Van Fleet, of Waterloo.
Mr. Snyder was a member of the American Legion and the Odd Fellows. The Legion will have a memorial squad at the cemetery.

Earl Snyder was born May 9, 1897 in Osage, Mitchell, Iowa. He married Wilma Bertha Ketelson, the daughter of August Ketelson and Anna Marie Arp Ketelson.
