Katherine Marie (nee Emerson) Levers -- January 15, 1872 – August 12, 1948

Osage – Mrs. John Levers, 76, died Thursday at her home, having been in ill health since a paralytic stroke 18 months ago. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m., at the Champion Funeral home and burial will be in Osage Cemetery.

Nee Katherine Marie Emerson, she was born to Alton and Jennie Emerson at Liberty Prairie, Wisconsin on January 15, 1872.

Her parents died when she was a young woman and she came to Osage to the home of her aunt, Mrs. Frank Markham and family to live in 1899. She married John Levers in 1901 and lived the remainder of her life in Osage.

She leaves only her husband. Two brothers, Allan George and Frank, also preceded her in death.
