Osage – Funeral rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Our Saviors Lutheran Church for John Markham, 75. He died Friday night at the University Hospital, Iowa City. Burial will be in the Osage cemetery.

John Guvarie Markham (name from WWI Draft Registration) was born in Osage, Iowa,on July 1, 1889, the son of William Markham and Jennie Burtch. He married Nellie Knudson, the daughter of Ole Knudson and Carrie (Olson) Knudson.
