VICTOR ALBERT HALL SR.

MCINTIRE, IOWA - Victor Albert Hall Sr., 77, died Tuesday (April 13, 1999) at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wayne Baptist Church, McIntire, with the Rev. Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in the Wayne Cemetery, rural McIntire.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home, Osage, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Victor Albert Hall, Sr., 77, of McIntire, Iowa, died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage, Iowa.

He was born April 29, 1921, to Francis W. Hall, Sr., and Ethel L. (Duryee) Hall in Spring Valley. He moved with his family to the McIntire, Iowa, area in 1935 and he graduated from McIntire High School in 1939.

He was a lifelong farmer at the family Century Farm west of McIntire and attended the Wayne Baptist Church in McIntire. On December 10, 1967, he married Nancy A. Brown.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Merri (Jim) Cross, Greenville, Ill., Lorena, (Rick) Brant, Emmetsburg, Iowa, and Cherish (Brian) Seidel of Rockford, Ill.; two sons, Charles of Madison, Wis., and Victor, Jr. of Riceville, Iowa; one granddaughter, Hannah Grace Cross; and one nephew, Lloyd Lancaster of Northfield, Minn., whom he had helped to raise.

Many remember him for his humor, kindness and willingness to help others in need. His family meant a great deal to him and the greatest gift he left is the legacy of following and serving the Lord.

Funeral services were at the Wayne Baptist Church in McIntire on Friday, April 16, 1999, with Mr. Gary Gilbert officiating. Burial was in Wayne Cemetery in rural McIntire.
