Following her graduation from St. Ansgar high school, Miss Reierson attended business school in Des Moines and excelled in this field. Mr. R.C. She worked in the bank for a number of years, and later as bookkeeper-secretary for the St. Ansgar Lumber Co. At the beginning of World War II she was appointed to the position as secretary for the Mitchell County Selective Service Board, and often spoke of seeing "her boys" off to war. She retired from this position in 1959.
Miss Reierson was a member of the St. Ansgar Study club, which later became the St. Ansgar Woman's club; the Wa Tan Ye club and the St. Ansgar Garden club.
A member of First Lutheran church all her life, Miss Reierson, was active in the Rebeccah Circle and the ALCW. She resided in her own home until December of 1976 when she became a resident of the St. Ansgar Good Samaritan Center.
