Otto Benson Died
Alexandria, Minn.
After Long IllnessOtto Benson, a former resident of Osage, died at his home in Alexandra, Minnesota after a long illness. Mr. Benson suffered from a growth on his neck, and although he made several trips to Minneapolis for operations and treatment, he grew steadily worse, and passed away April 1.
Mr. Benson was born 62 years ago in Mitchell County, Iowa, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Benson. He received his education in the local public schools, and attended the seminary for several years.
He married Lena Tucker, an Osage young woman, and they moved to Alexandria, about twenty-five years ago where they have been engaged in farming.
Surviving, besides Mrs. Benson are their children, Ralph and Lawrence, of Alexandria; Lloyd of Waterloo, Montana, and Leva, at home.
Mr. Benson’s brother, Nels, and his sisters, Misses Emily and Nell of Osage, and Mrs. John Handle, Mason City, attended the funeral services at Alexandria.
