Mrs. Delia Coulthurst Dies in Nursing Home

Mrs. Delia Coulthurst, 85, died at the Wass Nursing Home Wednesday at 9 p.m. after a year’s illness and being confined to bed for the past month.

Mrs. Coulthurst was born August 6, 1859 on a farm north of Plymouth. Later they lived on a farm 1 1/2 miles north of Manley for 28 years.

After living in Thermopolis, Wyoming, for 19 years, Mrs. Coulthurst returned to Mason City to make her home with her daughter, Mrs. Eva Doty, 823 East State.

She is survived by one sister; Mrs. Grant Hunt, Plymouth, one daughter, Mrs. Eva Doty, and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Coulthurst is preceded in death by her Husband, Richard Coulthurst, five sisters and three brothers.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Patterson funeral home. Burial is to be at Osage.

Her husband Richard Coulthurst was buried in the Osage Cemetery along with his father and mother William and Mary Coulthurst.

According to her daughter Eva (Coulthurst) Link; Doty (who was married twice) obit, her mothers maiden name was Pennell.
