EUSTIS, FLORIDA — Melvin Edward Francis, age 79, of Eustis, died Wednesday, December 3, 1997, at the Eustis Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Monday in Eustis. Burial will be in Eustis.

Harden-Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis is in charge of arrangements.

Melvin Edward Francis was born January 30, 1918, in Clear Lake, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet, of Eustis, Florida; one daughter, Sharon Canny of Orchard; one son, Dale Francis of Mason City; and three grandchildren, Julie, Jim and Watonna.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha; and one son, Melvin Jr.
