OSAGE, IOWA — Richard D. Larick, 72, of Osage, died Sunday (Jan. 17, 1999) at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church, in Mitchell, with the Rev. Rose Marie Nack officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery, Clarion.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Champion Funeral Home, 702 State St., Osage, and will continue one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Richard D. Larick was born July 10, 1926, near Mason City, in Cerro Gordo County.

Survivors include his wife, Eleanor, of Osage; two daughters, Christina Van Meter, of the state of Nevada, and Esther Fiddish, of Minden, Nevada; three stepsons, Dean Davis, of Eyota, Minnesota, Leonard Davis, of Independence, and Steven Davis, of Lime Springs; one stepdaughter, Sherry Heydt, of Sargeant, Minnesota; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one half-brother, Jim Larick, of Clarion.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one half-brother.
