Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 20, 1996, 10 a.m. at the St. Ansgar Catholic Church for Esther I. Kruse, 83. Reverend Joseph Schneider officiated and burial was in the Newburg Cemetery, Carpenter. She died Sunday, November 17, 1996 at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.

Esther I. Kruse was born April 25, 1913 in Liscomb.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; three brothers; and one brother and one sister in infancy.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathryn Powers of West Des Moines; one son, Dennis Kruse of St. Ansgar; four brothers, Sylvester Hulshizer of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Fritz Hulshizer of Northwood, Harold of Mauston, Wisconsin and Dale of St. Charles, Minnesota; and one grandchild.
