SHORT NEWSPAPER STORY:

Frank Counsell. died suddenly at Kansas City this week. He had gone there for medical care and an operation was performed early in the week in an effort to save his life.

Frank Counsell was born in March 1862 in Mitchell, Iowa, according to the 1900 Federal Census. He was the son of Harry Counsell and Lucretia (Rice) Counsell. According to the 1870 Federal Census the family of Harry Counsell was living in Burr Oak, Mitchell, Iowa.

Frank married Ida May Bowers, who was born in 1868 and died in 1966. The children of Frank and Ida are:

Mabel E. Counsell (1891 - 1971)
Harry E. Counsell (1895 - 1970)
Chester A. Counsell (1902 - 1980)

Frank died on February 26, 1921 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, County, Kansas. He was buried in the Osage City Cemetery.
