BLENKER, WISCONSIN -- Dorothea K. (Mrs. Henry H.) Linzmeier, 81, Auburndale, died at 5:30 AM. Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care Unit, Marshfield. She had been admitted to the hospital on January 30th.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Kilian's Catholic Church, Blenker, Wood Co., Wisconsin, with the Rev. John Wisneski officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Judy Meyer, organist, and the St. Kilian's Folk choir, with Mrs. Doris Mielke directing.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers will be nephews, Wayne, Gary and Mark Linzmeier, Jerome and Jim Brost and Virgil Folz.
Visitation will be at Rembs/Kundinger chapel, Marshfield, at 4 p.m. Tuesday and then at the church from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday. A parish prayer service will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel and a St. Kilian's Parish council of Catholic Women rosary service will be at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
She was born on June 17, 1910, in Stacyville, Iowa, to Lambert and Margaret (May) Brost. She moved to Rozellville with her parents as a child and attended St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Rozellville.
After her marriage, she and her husband farmed in the town of Milladore until retiring in 1980. They continued to reside on the farm after retirement. She was a member of St. Kilian's Catholic Church and its Parish Council of Catholic Women.
She is survived by her husband, on daughter, Mrs. Martin (Beverly) Hach of Lancaster, California; six sons, Marcel of Minocqua, Dale of Milladore, Julius, Wallace and Merald "Moe," all of Auburndale, and Donald of West Pittsburg, Calif.: two sisters, Mrs. Loretta Griesbach of Stratford and Mrs. Gust (Delphina) Bleichrot of Muskego; one brother, Lawrence Brost of Marshfield; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grand children.
She was predeceased by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.
