AUSTIN, MINNESOTA — Lucille A. Larson, 78, of 905 12th Ave. N.W., died Saturday evening (Oct. 10, 1998) at the Austin Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church with the Rev. James I. Mikkelson officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Clasen-Jordan Mortuary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.

Lucille was born on August 11, 1920, at Otranto, Iowa, the daughter of Gustave and Mary (Schroeder) Stelter. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Toeterville. She graduated from the Otranto High School and was married to Bradford G. Larson on January 8, 1939, at the Stelter family home. They resided in Stacyville, Iowa, and Rose Creek, Minn., before moving to Austin in 1945. Lucille was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church where she was active in WELCA and also worked with the crafts area at St. Marks Lutheran Home.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Glen and Sharon Larson of Bloomington, Minn., and Darwin and Pamela Larson of Norwalk, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Eric Swenson, Rochester, Minn., Lars Swenson, Maple Grove, Minn., Cynthia Bellefeuille, Eden Prairie, Minn., Valeria Larson, Eden Prairie, Minn., Chadd Larson, Jacksonville, Fla., Elizabeth Larson, Norwalk, Katherine Larson, Norwalk, and Rebecca Larson, Norwalk; a great-granddaughter, Jaclyn Bellefeuille; son-in-law and wife, Jerry and Maggie Sprick, Red Wing, Minn.; sister and brother-in-law, Bernice and Johnny Callahan, Austin; sister-in-law, Gala Stelter, Clear Lake; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Myrle and Leona Larson, Austin; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bradford; daughter, LaVonne Sprick; an infant son, Donald; and brother, Lawrence.
