Pearl Maude (nee Riley) Loney 1874-1941RITES ARE HELD FOR MRS. LONEY
Former Mitchell County Farm Woman Succumbs at Home of Her DaughterOsage – Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. Stiles Lessly of the Osage Congregational church for Mrs. Myron A. Loney, 66, who died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Meek in Madison, Wisconsin.
Born in Floyd, she was married to Myron Loney in 1895 and they lived on a farm in Burr Oak township, Mitchell, County. Mr. Loney died about three years ago.
Surviving are eight children: Claude Loney of Norfolk, Va.; Mrs. Andrew Meek of Madison, Wisconsin; Clifford of Austin, Minnesota; Mrs. Berlin Bunce of Ellsworth, Wisconsin; Harry of Madison, Wisconsin; Dorothy Loney of Madison, Wisconsin; Mrs. Roger Lesch of Osage; Donald of Mdison, Wisconsin; nine grandchildren; two sisters; Mrs. Albert Hough of Eugene, Oregon; and Mrs. Myrtle Clark of Auror, Colorado; and a brother William Riley, of Los Angeles, California.
Burial was in the Osage cemetery.
