Last Rites Will Be
Conducted at Grafton
Lutheran Church

Grafton – Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon for Emil Bublitz, 59, who died Sunday evening after being ill for a long time.

The services will be held in the Lutheran church with the Rev. H. Lechner officiating.
He had spent most of his life in the vicinity of Grafton.

Surviving are his wife, daughter, Leona at home and two sons, Elmer of Mason City and Raymond of Chicago.

Albert Emil August Bublitz “Emil” was born June 17, 1882 and died November 26, 1939. Emil was the son of Wilhelm Bublitz and Hulda (Jarling) Bublitz.

He married Emma M. (Wilde) Bublitz who was born June 18, 1883 and died August 11, 1952. She was the daughter of Johann Friedrick Ferdinand Wilde and Augusta Frederika Wilhelmina Tesch.

BUBLITZ, Albert Emil August 1882-1939

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Grafton Lutheran church for Albert Bublitz who died Sunday evening after a long illness of anemia. Reverend Lechner conducted the service. Burial was made in the Rock Creek cemetery.

Albert Emil August Bublitz was born June 17, 1882 in Union township, Worth County, the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bublitz. He was baptized July 30 of the same year, and was confirmed March 29, 1896 at the Rock Creek church by Reverend Westenberger.

In December of 1900, he was united in marriage to Emma Wilde. They settled on a farm four miles east of Grafton. Four children were born to them: Elmer of Mason City, Raymond of Chicago, and Leona at home. One son, Orville, preceded him in death.

Mr. Bublitz leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, three children and three grandchildren.
