Mike Adams Funeral Held at Stacyville

Stacyville , Oct. 3 – Funeral services were held at Visitation church Thursday for Mike Adams, 73, who died Tuesday after a long illness. He lived in this neighborhood since he was 15 years old.

He is survived by seven children: George, Peter, John, Benedict, Aloys, Henry and Amanda, and eight brothers and sisters, Math, Bernard, John, Peter, Joseph, Martin, Mrs. George Faas and Mrs. Jake Theobald.

Michael Adams was born February 12, 1859 in Illinois, the son of Nicholas Michael Adams 1826-1882 and Anna Marie (Steffens) Adams 1834-1887.
He married Anna Faas 1862-1930, the daughter of Benedict Faas 1823-1894 and Kunegunda (Schuster) Faas 1828-1912
