Trent Bartels

RICEVILLE — Trent Bartels, 18, of Riceville, died Sunday (Feb. 1, 1998) at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Matthew Versemann officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery in Riceville.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Lindstrom Funeral Home in Riceville, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service.

Trent Bartels was born on July 11, 1979, in Osage.

Survivors include his parents, Fred and Marlys Bartels, of Riceville; one brother, Rick Bartels, of Riceville; two sisters, Colleen Wessman, of Des Moines, and Allison, of Mason City; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Irene Bartels, Riceville; and his maternal grandparents, Bernard and Adeline Lubbert, Riceville.
