Stacyville – Word has been received of the sudden death of Orrie Palmer, 51, of Harmony, Minn., at a farm home Sunday where they had taken shelter, after a fierce wind and hail storm in central Iowa.
It is believed that the shock of driving through a flooded roadway and the hail storm caused the heart attack.

Born at Stacyville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Palmer, of Union township; he leaves his wife and family; one brother, Justus Palmer, Carpenter; and several relatives in the Stacyville area.

Orrie K Palmer was born October 29, 1898 , the son of James H Palmer 1875-1926 and Gena R (Williams) Palmer 1878-1962. He married Alice Jasper Robinson. 1898-1998.

Orrie and his wife Alice are both buried in the Union Presbyterian Cemetery, Stacyville, Mitchell,, Iowa
