Hanson Funeral Rites Conducted in Osage
OSAGE, IOWA - Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. H. M. Grant of Osage Methodist church for Charles Hanson, 54, who died Wednesday morning at a hospital in Mason City.
He was born and spent all his life in and near Stacyville. In 1920 he was married to Golda Jacobson of Lyle, Minnesota.
Surviving are his widow and five children; Irene, Dick; Robert; Lawrence; and James, all at home; his mother Mrs. Bess Hanson of West Union; three brothers, Willard of West Union; Harry of Detroit, Mich.; and Bert of Chicago, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Claire Ferguson of Chicago, Ill.; Mrs. Walter Wright of Osage; and Bertha of West Union.
Burial will be in the cemetery at Stacyville.
