Rites Wednesday
for Gustav TrogeOSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services for Gustav Troge, 72, lifetime resident of Mitchell County, will be held Wednesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church south of Osage. Burial in the church cemetery.
He died at a hospital here Saturday night.
Mr. Troge was a son of Wilhelm and Emelie Troge, born on a farm in Cedar Township. On June 2, 1909, he was married to Alvina Hartwig. They lived on the home farm all their life.
Mrs. Troge died in 1936.
Survivors include five daughters: Mrs. Ingvold Johnson, Mrs. Hans Staff, and Mrs. Carl Lorence, all of Osage, Mrs. Hulda Troge, Mason City, and Mrs. Vinton Waters of Parkersburg; five grandchildren; two stepbrothers, Henry and Ervin Troge, of Osage, and three stepsisters: Mrs. H. R. Dieterichs, Rudd; Mrs. Louise Lesch, Osage, and Mrs. Marie Muller, Charles City.
