Conduct Rites of Rudd Woman

Mrs. Edward Ahrens, 86, Is Buried in Eden Presbyterian Cemetery

Rudd---Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Ahrens, 86, were held in the Eden Presbyterian church north of Rudd Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock. Mrs. Ahrens died at her home early Wednesday morning. Burial was in the Eden Presbyterian cemetery (Meroa, Mitchell, Iowa) and her six grandsons acted as pallbearers.

She is survived by her husband and her children the Rev. Henry Ahrens of Rosemont, Nebr., the Rev. Robert Ahrens, a missionary, the Rev. Edward Ahrens of Oskaloosa, Kans., Mrs. Henry Brandau, Mrs. George Brandau and Mrs. Ed Brandau, all of Rudd, Mrs. Hugo Gratias, Jake and Mathilda of Nora Springs.
