Leona Susan Brandau

MASON CITY — Leona Susan Brandau, 79, of Mason City, died Sunday (Sept. 18, 2005) at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa, Mason City.

A memorial Mass will be held for Leona Brandau at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Kenneth Gehling presiding. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Osage.

A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be directed to the Leona S. Brandau Memorial Fund.

Leona was the 2nd wife of Wilmer L Brandau. His first wife was Lola Belle Johnson, daughter of Ole Johnson who he married on February 20, 1944 at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church.

Wilmer married Leona S Squier October 29, 1973 in Mower County, Minnesota. Her maiden name is unknown at this time.
