EMIL C. BOWERS VICTIM OF TUBERCULOSIS

After a hard fight against Tuberculosis, Emil Bowers passed away at the home of his brother, Richard, in Austin Tuesday morning.

Funeral services will be held at the home in Austin Friday, at one o'clock, followed by services at the Methodist Church at two o'clock.

1. Emil Charles Bowers born March 25, 1892 in Saint Ansgar (according to the World War I Draft Registration).

2. His father was Charles (aka Karl, aka Carl) L. Bowers" (from 1925 Iowa Census for his brother William [1879-1950], who is buried in St. Ansgar)

3. His father was born November 1850 in Germany, and his Mother, Hulda (nee Leske), was born June 1857 in Germany. (1900 Census)
