Osage Woman Dies Following Injury in Auto-Truck CollisionOsage--Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Champion funeral home in charge of the Rev. William Galbreth, a former St. Ansgar minister, for Mrs. G. A. Lott, 58, who died Friday noon in an Austin, Minn., hospital from internal injuries received in an auto-truck accident Thursday evening. Dr. and Mrs. Lott and Mr. and Mrs. George H Sawyer were returning after spending Christmas day in St. Paul, Minn.
Ada Hertz was born in Iowa City. She was married to Dr. Lott, November 14, 1906, and they lived in St. Ansgar until 1919 when they moved to Osage, where they had lived since. Mrs. Lott was a member of the Eastern Star and the Shakespearean club.
Surviving are her husband and two sons, Bruce of Osage and Guy of Lancaster, Pa.; a brother, George, and two sisters, Miss Sophia Hertz and Mrs. Elsie Ruppert, all of Iowa City.
Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.Mason City Globe Gazette Sunday, December 29, 1941

Ada (Hertz) Lott was the daughter of Albert John Hertz and Sarah (Gobin) Hertz. Her husband was Doctor Guy Alexander Lott.
