Warner Knoulton
Died This Morning
After Short Illness

L. W. Knoulton, for more than half a century one of the moving factors of the Osage community, passed away at 3 0' clock this morning.

Though he had been infirm from the encroachments of old age for several years, his health had been generally good, but about two weeks ago he suffered a stroke, and since that time the end has been expected. He would have been 85 years old in June.

Mr. Knoulton came to Osage in the late '60s, and early was accorded a prominent place in the life of the community. For many years he traveled for one of the big farm implement manufactures; then for a time he was sheriff of Mitchell County; and was for a long time cashier of the Home Trust & Savings Bank.

He is survived by his widow and by his daughter, Miss Augusta Knoulton.

The funeral will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home.
